Blues Control is Lea Cho and Russ Waterhouse, a shape-shifting pair of musicians who channel Debussy via Guaraldi qua Bley qua Hornsby pianisms, alongside the playful juxtapositions of a full spectrum of rock colors: stadium, industrial, psych and prog (to name just a few). Their music spans spacey guitar leads, clarion synth, and the punch of real drums, only to suddenly veer into world music and mellow drug-mospheres, blending exotic and classical, Western and Eastern, and the widest spectrum of sounds available. Their latest album, Valley Tangents, was released in 2012.
