Lucy Raven was born in Tucson, Arizona in and lives in New York City and Oakland, California. Her work has been included in exhibitions and screenings internationally at Berlinale, Berlin (2013); Hammer Museum, Los Angeles (2012); Whitney Biennial, New York (2012); MoMA, New York (2010); and PS1, New York (2010). Raven is a contributing editor to BOMB magazine, and her writing has appeared in Artforum, BOMB, and October. She has curated projects for the Goethe Institute, New York (2010); Ballroom Marfa, Texas (2008); and was the co-creator of Bump City, a series of online documentaries for the Oakland Museum of California (2012).
