Tim Reid makes theater, writes, teaches, performs. He takes analytic thought to absurd ends, looking for rupture and frames. The work is about love and trouble. He has made and directed pieces at PAM Residencies, Machine Project, and Highways, and performed at Pieter, REDCAT, Night Gallery, USC Visions and Voices, the Hammer Museum, and Links Hall, among others. He is a co-curator at PAM Residencies, a co-editor at Riting.org, was an ensemble member of The Neo-Futurists in Chicago and an original member of Wet The Hippo in Los Angeles. Most recently, he has researched and written on both melodrama and clown. He has a BA from the University of Chicago and an MFA from CalArts in Critical Studies.
