Our second of two TBA Festival Flights, Seniors, Sex, & Spirituality: Art and Social Change references two TBA projects: Holcombe Waller’s LGBT Requiem Mass (a work-in-progress to debut at a future TBA Festival) and Mammalian Diving Reflex’s All the Sex I’ve Ever Had. Both projects are developed collaboratively with communities, working at the tensions between sexuality, identity, and cultural and social systems, assumptions, and ideologies.In addition to performances and workshops throughout the Festival, Seniors, Sexuality & Spirituality includes a free, public symposium on September 20th, exploring contemporary art and performance as potential sites and situations for social, political, and public engagement and experimentation. Join festival-goers and visiting and local guests for a day of collective conversation and inquiry, followed by happy hour on PICA’s rooftop deck.The following events are a part of this Festival Flight:
