Precipice Fund provides critical support for artist-driven organizations, projects, initiatives, and publications that exist on the edge of new practice. These projects operate outside of traditional forms of support, galvanize communities, promote critical dialogue, and encourage generative and expansive artistic process while driving culture forward regionally and nationally. These often informal, anti-institutional, serious, intentionally nebulous, and innovative projects are an integral part of the Portland region’s vital art ecology and are emulative of the pioneering spirit of the Pacific Northwest.

In Round 4, the Precipice Fund will award 15 to 20 grants of $500 to $5,000 each, for a total of $75,000 in annual giving.

Join us for an information session and budget workshop on Satuday, August 13 beginning at 1:00 PM at APANO’s JAMS (8114 SE Division St.).
