All songs are about love and they’re all like wolves. This song is concerned with the tragedy of a meeting between two men who desire everything from each other. Based on the text by the late French playwright Bernard-Marie Koltès and backed by live music from the Natural Born Chillers, In the Solitude of Cotton Fields portrays a raw encounter between a Dealer and Client. While disarming the audience with all of the posturing and swagger of a rock concert, In the Solitude of Cotton Fields lays bare the realities of human exchange.
Generous support for In the Solitude of Cotton Fields was granted by the Trust for Mutual Understanding. Additional support comes from The Marshall of the Swietokrzyskie Voivodeship.
