The Time-Based Art Festival and PICA’s ongoing programs are curated by our Artistic Staff, and participation is by invitation only. Various factors impact the inclusion of a project in our programming calendar, including artistic integrity, suitability, funding, and scheduling. Because of these requirements, it is rare that unsolicited proposals will result in exhibition or performance opportunities. We strongly suggest that you familiarize yourself with our past programming before you submit a proposal, so that you will best understand the work we present.

Resource Room Residencies
PICA’s Resource Room Residents (RRR) are selected in part through an open call for proposals. RRRs are “drop-in” residencies: artists have access to the space during open PICA hours unless special arrangements are made in advance. At this time, we cannot provide travel or housing for RRRs. A modest stipend of up to $500 will be provided to all residents. PICA will provide other support and materials to RRRs wherever possible.
