TBA:15 THE WORKS
Decibel Festival Night at THE WORKS
featuring: Lapalux, Strategy, Raica with Coldbrew Collective
Decibel Festival is proud to be curating three compelling audio/visual performances, each channeling a unique creative output spanning from esoteric to visceral. Seattle's Raica aka Chloe Harris will be debuting her new collaborative piece with the Coldbrew Collective, which combines analog hardware with computer-driven generative visuals. Portland's own Strategy will be performing his acclaimed 2015 album Noise Tape Full which "implants dub's DNA in a whole new host" according to Pitchfork. Rounding out the program will be the UK-based abstract R&B composer Lapalux, who has the distinct honor of being the only European artist on Flying Lotus' seminal Brainfeeder imprint.
Founded in 2003, The Decibel International Festival of Electronic Music Performance, Visual Art and New Media is a platform for exposing audiences to leading-edge multimedia art from around the globe. With a focus on live performance, interactive multimedia, and state-of-the-art sound and technology based education, Decibel has solidified itself as one of the premier electronic music festivals.
The 12th Annual Decibel Festival will be taking place September 23rd through the 27th, 2015 throughout Seattle.
